Great Lakes Cormorants (GLC) is committed to protecting the privacy of its members, supporters and constituents.  The personal information that is shared with us is held in the strictest of confidence.  Personal information is not sold or shared with others.

Great Lakes Cormorants occasionally provides links to other web sites and documents that are not authored by us.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices and policies of these other sites.  The security on these sites is not expressed or implied by us providing the information link from our site.

When donations are made to Great Lakes Cormorants' member organizations in support of GLC work or activities it may be necessary for those member organizations to collect minimal personal information as is required by law for a charity (or non-profit) to perform certain tasks such as accept donations and issue receipts as specified by the Canada Revenue Agency and Charity Directorate. This includes name, mailing address, and telephone or email of donors, so that they may contact you if necessary. GLC does not process donations or collect personal banking information. 

Some personal information such as name, mailing address, telephone or email may be used by Great Lakes Cormorants to send updates and newsletters to members, supporters and constituents — unless specifically requested not to do so.  You can make a request through the GLC website feedback form or by email directly to GLC instructing that no correspondence be sent.
